DNS Configuration Settings

These are the DNS settings that are found in the [TCP/IP Properties]. DNS stands for Domain Name System.

Our host is generally Delb #. This host name does not affect the performance of the machine, so we could use any host name to identify ourselves.

The domain name is very important and is unique. It is assigned once again by our Internet Provider and is always Chinooksedge.ab.ca.

The DNS Server Search order is as follows:

After enter each set of numbers you must ADD them and be careful not to press the return key as this will take you out of the screen and you will have to re-enter the numbers

When you have finished entering all the numbers press OK at the bottom of the screen.

We are now ready to install the Novell Network Client.
